WORLD OF POP ART
ORIGINAL HAND PULLED SILKSCREEN AND
ILLUSTRATION CUT ARTWORKS
Colors and excitement are my passion, being a teenager during the era of the Detroit Muscle Car wars, I was able to drive and collect some wonderful cars.
Also as an art student during the Pop Art generation, I was
able to see and enjoy the explosion of American Modern and Pop Art NYC style.
My work is original, hand pulled and hand designed silkscreen images or illustration cuts using
museum board or canvas.

My first art instructor told
me to go out and use my eyes to really see the world. After practice, my
artistic perspective and observation techniques developed, enabling me to paint
places and objects more like I truly see and more importantly, feel them. Light
patterns, texture of objects, depth of color, reflection, and shapes were things
I studied and practiced.
At my first gallery show in Venice California, Andy Warhol visited and signed in my guest book that the work was the best art he's seen, lately. That propelled me into the pop, concept and blotted line art world! As I studied the art movements of New York City in the 60's & 70's, I got excited about the pop/concept artists. After studies and research I have arrived a some important works that reflect my passions.
My latest Illustration Cut works are of my 1967 Camaro and several of my favorites from the 60's & 70's, I got excited about the Classic Muscle cars after I had to start working on my 67 Camaro, when I saw it in the evening light of my garage, the form and colors took my breath away and I had to document it on illustration board.
